In 2022, the SHTA and Unruly Women collaborated to bring forth the very first all-women’s volunteer weekend in SHT history. It was an incredible weekend of trail rerouting and community building. We had such a great experience, that we did it again in 2023! This time, re-reouting and re-building trail, moving rock, and so much more.

In 2022 and 2023, Unruly Women adopted and helped care for the North and South Sonju campsites along the Superior Hiking Trail.

In 2023, The Kekekabic Chapter of the North Country Trail Association collaborated to bring together an incredible group of women to help clear trail along the Kekekabic for two full days.

Unruly Women is gathering a group to ride the 60 mile gravel race as part of the Hungry Bear 100 in May, 2024.

I am a registered yoga teacher who wants to let everyone know they don’t have to be flexible to enjoy yoga! I love having the opportunity to show people around the outdoors and teach them how to navigate it on their own. When I’m not working you can find me in my canoe or with my friends. Volunteering + Partnering for the 25th Annual Stupor Bowl ‘69 Bike Messenger Race. This is the longest running - and largest - bike messenger alleycat bike race in the US. You can find Unruly Women volunteering at one of the checkpoints to mark the manifests - - which will be released May 10th and 12:15PM @ Venture Bikes.
