Outside of Unruly Women, I am a published freelance writer. I have always loved writing and find that our creativity flows when we allow expectations to fall away and join together in community.
Welcome to the ‘Unearth Your Inner Wild’ Creative Writing Series
Being unruly and unearthing your inner wild means to do the sometimes painful - messy work to reveal who you are beneath the titles, rules, and societal standards that confine you. Discover your authentic self and the things that stoke your internal fire. Embrace your power and see your strength instead of weaknesses.
This workshop series will be a thoughtful combination of journaling and creative writing. We’ll meet at various places around Minneapolis, have a cozy beverage, make new friends, and dive inwards.
Through this workshop you’ll find community, connection and inspiration.
Unearth Your Inner Wild Creative Writing + Journaling Workshop and Q&A for Unruly Women
AN INTUITIVELY DESIGNED WORKSHOP TO HELP YOU DIVE INWARD, (RE)DISCOVER YOUR DREAMS, MEET NEW PEOPLE, AND LEARN MORE ABOUT UNRULY WOMEN.
This event is for all female identifying and non-binary individuals
This event is FREE
This is a great opportunity to dive inward through the journaling and creative writing prompts AND to meet new people / make new friends
Bring something to create with, this can be: pen and paper, watercolors and paper, a journal, a notebook, feel free to use colored pencils or markers - whatever helps your creative process flow freely
You may use this time for writing and creating, talking with others to bounce ideas, and to give yourself permission to allow your creativity to flow - unrestricted.
We will begin with a brief meet-n-greet, this will be followed by a 1 hour - 1.5 hour journaling/writing/creating guided session, followed by a short Q & A for Monica / Unruly Women
I know that working around others is often the creative kick that I need to help my creativity flow, so if this is also you, feel free to stick around and keep working :) after 8 pm

This week, we’re meeting at Sister’s Sludge Cafe and Wine Bar in Minneapolis @ 9:30 AM
Bring something to create with, this can be: pen and paper, watercolors and paper, a journal, a notebook, feel free to use colored pencils or markers - whatever helps your creative process flow freely
You may use this time for writing and creating, talking with others to bounce ideas, and to give yourself permission to allow your creativity to flow - unrestricted.
This will last 1.5 hours, but you are more than welcome to continue working on whatever flows through you this session - I know that working around others is often the creative kick that I need to help my creativity flow, so if this is also you, feel free to stick around and keep working :)
